At Hagley Dental, family-focused oral health care and support is at the heart of what we do. We are a highly skilled team working within a well-equipped clinic, offering a comprehensive range of core dentistry treatments such as extractions, fillings and check-ups.
We’re here to support all members of the family, from mums-to-be, baby’s first tooth, teenagers’ first braces and all the way up to denture treatment and later life oral health care. We’re here to ensure you continue to have the happy, healthy smile you deserve year on year.
We’re proud of our detailed check-ups, which we recommend you have around every 6-12 months depending on your individual needs. During your check-up we’ll provide the following services:
If you have any outstanding issues with your teeth or gums that can’t wait until your check-up, we recommend you get in touch so that we can book you in for an appointment as soon as possible. Prevention is always better than cure, and the sooner we see you, the earlier any problems can be diagnosed and treated.
Whilst we always do everything we can to help you keep your teeth healthy, sometimes accidents and dental disease happen. For this reason, we may need to apply effective local anaesthetic, and once the area is numb, remove the decayed part of the tooth and replace it with a strong clinical-grade filling material.
We offer both amalgam (silver) fillings and white fillings so that you can feel in control of how your dental restorations look.
We won’t begin any work without discussing it with you first, providing you with a full treatment plan, including transparent costs.
Tooth loss is something that our team works hard to help patients avoid. Using hygienist services, detailed dental advice and other treatment options we will try our hardest to help you keep your natural teeth. However, accidents and dental disease can still happen, and sometimes teeth need to be extracted.
If that is the case we can often prepare for it in advance so that you don’t need to spend any time with a missing tooth. We can plan crowns, bridges, implants or dentures, depending on your preference and suitability. If we do need to perform an emergency extraction, sometimes temporary restorations can be placed whilst we work towards a more permanent solution.
When we do perform an extraction we ensure that we use effective local anaesthetic so you don’t feel any pain. We’ll complete the treatment as quickly as possible so that you can start to heal from the extraction and move forward, free from the broken or diseased tooth causing you discomfort.
